Product Description

M-ADC Plus enrichment is a superior alternative to ADC enrichment that is used to isolate/cultivate a wide variety of Mycobacteria including M. tuberculosis and M. bovis BCG. It contains Bovine albumin, dextrose, and catalase and additional components. Bovine albumin neutralizes the toxic products. Dextrose is the fermentable sugar and catalase cleaves the toxic hydrogen peroxides which creates stress to the Mycobacteria cells.

M-ADC plus enrichment contains an additional proprietary component that helps in better estimation of the bacterial titer through CFU assay. The colony morphology becomes smoother resulting in easier and more accurate counting of CFUs on agar plates made with this supplement.

Modified serum components in the supplement makes this product 50% more cost effective as compared to other existing solid media for mycobacteria in the market.
