MycoClear™ Plus Broth is designed specifically for in vitro diagnostic use.

This serum/animal component free media contains proprietary antibiotics mix which helps in preventing the growth of non-mycobacterial species that could be present in the clinical specimen.

The media provides significant cost benefits as compared to other serum based commercial media used for mycobacterial culture.

MycoClear™ Plus broth also does not allow cell clumping, a common phenomenon that interferes with the quantification of the organisms in mycobacterial culture.

Due to absence of cell clumping, mycobacterial titer in this media can be determined with significantly better accuracy and precision as compared to serum-based media.

MycoClear™ Plus broth also reduces the other costs associated with preparation and the uses of the media for different applications.
